When you left, I found myself in The Valley of Kings. There is a certain inevitability that when you live a big life, what you are choosing is big pleasure, as well as big pain. With big passion comes big discomfort. To say any of this to you, I know I must sound like a broken record. The truth is, M, I loved you. Very, very much. I was ready to build a life with you, and part of me knows that may not even be fair of me. I’m sure if I were to point a finger at you, you would point a mirror right back at me, and I can’t say that you would be wrong to do so.
Nothing is fair in love, but that’s part of what makes it love.
