Guidelines
- Send 15 to 30 pages of poetry. Only one poem per page please.
- Feel free to submit previously published poems and simultaneous submissions.
- Please send submissions to submissions@soboghoso.org
- Email subject should include “Chapbook Submission”
- .doc is preferrable format but we will also accept .pdf and google docs
What is a chapbook?
A chapbook is a short collection of poems. Our chapbooks will be professionally printed and saddle-stitched.
Deadline
At this point, this is an open call for chapbooks. There is no formally established deadline.
Other Details
- South Broadway Press considers the social impact of its publications. We like books that have a sense of activism in their themes.
- BIPOC and queer authors are encouraged to submit.
- Selected authors will be able to ongoingly purchase chapbooks from the press at the cost of $3 plus shipping costs.
- The published chapbook will be available for purchase online and through limited retailers throughout Colorado.
- A virtual chapbook release will be hosted for selected authors.
